Pada hari ini di tahun 1934, yang berbasis di Tokyo Jidosha Kabushiki-Seizo-Kaisha (Automobile Manufacturing Co, Ltd dalam bahasa Inggris) mengambil nama baru: Nissan Motor Company.

Jidosha-Seizo Kabushiki-Kaisha was established in December 1933. The new name of the company, which was adopted in June 1934, is an abbreviation for Nippon Sangyo, a "zaibatsu" (or parent company) belonging to the founder of Tobata this, Yoshisuke Aikawa.
